This book Of Mice and Men, is a very controversial book and is set in the time of modernism. There are many good and bad things about this book. The parts I love are the plot, character devolvement and the setting. Somethings I dislike are the language, how they treat Lennie, too much foreshadowing and how the book ends. John Steinbeck is a good author because he really describes the people and the setting. John Steinbeck is a great author and describes the whole story very well. The characters are almost described every time as he goes into the story. The plot of the story is a great example of the Great Depression. George and Lennie are there for each other and most other workers want the American Dream which usually means they all go
