Have you ever been beat up in school or after well that's what happened to Bryson wills. In the novel Look Both Ways by Jason Reynolds. is about a few different people that have conflicts and they all are taking place at the same time of the same day. Bryson is at school and he is having a normal day. Then all of a sudden he starts hearing about what happened to his friend Ty. He was getting made fun for accidentally kissing a boy. Bryson tries to stand up for his friend but people say he is crazy and then all the people start bullying Bryson instead of Ty and then after school he gets beat up. Bryson dealt with bullying the best out of all the people in the book The first part of evidence I have is on (80) it said “then he deleted all the apps off his phone”. He did this because he didn’t want the attention on the internet. He also wanted to forget about it. Another piece of evidence the book states on (79) “ Bryson did not go to school today” This shows that he wanted to get away from the attention people were giving him. These quotes show that he responded to being bullied by ignoring the other people and just thinking about something else. …show more content…
