When individuals commit to “doing” rather than “trying”, they can put their best effort forward when doing anything in life. Embracing “doing” allows for a whole new perspective on life. Adam Savage delivered a speech entitled "Why We Make" in the attempt to pin down the reason why makers do what they do, and starts off by describing his first creation — a Millennium Falcon he made in his mother's closet when he was a boy.
