The theme is bullying because in the story they usually are getting bullied from Brad the big time bully to not just one person but the whole school.the only people who are not scared of him are little crew and Ellen Louise because he licks her but she does not like him. Ellen Louise is trying to get Benji and Mark not be scared because they have to interview him for kidsview because the teacher told him had to so his gade can improve to calcite C not a F or D. So he can pass now the teacher is making the whole class do
The second example of theme in this story is Romance. I chose this theme for romance because this whole story is about the narrator trying to get a seventeen year old girl for his whole summer, “There was a summer in my life when the only creature that seemed lovelier to me than a largemouth bass was Sheila Mant”. This quote shows how much he likes this Sheila and how much he wants to take her on a date before the summer ends. I chose romance as a theme because the narrator in the story has strong feelings for Sheila and he sacrificed the biggest fish of his life just to make Sheila like
“Rikki-tikki-tavi” is a book about a mongoose written by Rudyard Kipling, a human. During this story Rikki-tikki-tavi uses his fast reflexes to eliminate the snakes and be considered a hero. He proves himself to be determined, brave, and protecting while killing snakes, obviously, because who doesn't prove themselves by killing snakes. At first Rikki proves his determination in extermination while he kills Nag in the bathroom. While he held onto Nags fragile neck “he closed his jaws tighter, for he made sure he [Nag] would be banged to death…”
The family tends to him and Rikki then goes exploring around his new home. He later runs into an upset bird, the bird is sad because a cobra had just eaten it’s baby. Rikki is furious. He goes and tries to kill the cobras, nearly killing himself. He knew that it would be dangerous to kill the cobras, but someone would have to do it before the cobras cause even more trouble.
My first theme in the book was fear, “Gina hears a crash from the kitchen, so she drops her cup of coffee and checks to see what happened, she sees wally on the ground with a bullet wound on his chest.” This quote represents fear because when Gina heard a gunshot she was afraid of who was shot whether it was someone she knew or not. It was also because she didn’t know how the person came into her house because it was only Gina, Nico and Wally coming in to visit. The shooting had just happened so soon and Gina wants to figure out who did the crime.
This shows the theme by proving that even when people are forced together in barbed wires, they can still work together and make lifelong friends. A final time the motif is shown is when Mala and Edek ran away but unfortunately got
The theme that I choice for Tangerine is “Sometimes good change can come from bad situations.” An example of the theme is when the Lake Windsor school gets swallowed up by a sinkhole. Although it ruined art of the school and many students were hurt, Paul had a chance to change his life. The sinkhole helped him get into another school without an IEP and without an IEP, Paul can play soccer. Another example is when Paul made a mistake when playing the soccer championship.
The theme in “The Day it Rained Cats” is you need to think hard about important decisions. This is shown mainly towards the end of the story when grandma loses control of her levving ability.
The father and the daughter saw Rikk-Tikki and thought he was dead but the mother and the son knew he was still alive and cold. They took him inside to warm up and a couple minutes later he was exploring the whole house and he was friendly to the family because they rescued him. He went to the yard and saw a bird crying and he siad said,"why so sad," and the bird said because of that cobra Nag he ate one of my eggs. He saw Nag and he was about to attack the other egg and Rikki-Tikki fought back and Nag backed off.
So in this book I think the theme would be although adventure can be exciting play it safe this is important in many life situations and this book. I think everyone should use this theme in all there exiting or dangerous life situations!
However, the theme is not “face your fears.” While Rikki does become brave and Nagaina becomes fearful, not all the animals have fear. Overall, the first theme could be one of the best themes for the story. Rikki Tikki Tavi written by Rudyard Kipling, will always be a story with many life lessons like “good triumphs over evil,”so don’t be evil. The theme in this story also goes with things that happen all the time in real life.
To begin with, theme is what the author is trying to convey in their writing. It is what they want you to take away from a story. In a way it is like a lesson that you are learning. In the story “Rikki- Tikki- Tavi”, there clearly is a theme. There seems to be some sort of question as to what the message of this story is.
Due to the rise of the the renaissance in the 1400’s in Italy, there was a change in art. Art seemed to reflect realism and artist became more concerned with depicting life in the real world. One of the most iconic artist of that time period was Jan van Eyck and one of his most prized painting was The Arnolfini Portrait. The Arnolfini Portrait contains a ton of imagery and symbolism within it and due to that, it has lead many people pondering the meaning behind it. Many people seem to agree that the portrait depicts a wedding between two individuals of high wealthy class.
To me the best theme in the story is friendship. I believe that every person needs to show friendship to
Illegalizing Abortion Will Not End Abortion For over 40 years, the Supreme Court case of Roe v. Wade in 1973 has been a point of controversy in America. Many people are calling for the case to be overturned; others are fighting for it to be upheld. Among all this disagreement, people have looked towards the government for help, leading this issue to become a political hot spot. Candidates of all types of government elections are very clear on their views of abortion, which can lead to some “one-topic votes”.
