The play Much Ado About Nothing ends with Act 5 scenes 3 and 4. Scene 3 is one of the shortest scenes in the whole play. In scene 3, Claudio goes to the tomb of Hero where he requested by Leonato to tell everybody that Hero is innocent. He does this by first reading an epitaph aloud. As he reads out the epitaph, he tells everybody to sing solemn hymns. Additionally Claudio says goodnight to Hero and promises her that he will come and do this every year. Don Pedro instructs everybody there to leave, then he and Claudio leave the tomb and head to Leonato’s house ending scene 3. The last and final scene 4 is perhaps one of the most ecstatic and interesting scenes in the entire play. Almost everybody in the play is incorporated in this scene
