Never let me go is a novel written by Kazuo Ishiguro. The story tells of us about a place called Hailsham and Kathy is the antagonist of the story. She narrates about her life and also her memories of other characters . As she tells her story the more the reader realize that something is mysterious about Hailsham. Hailsham is an institute where human clones grow up for the purpose of donating organs to others ,like a donor organ farm. The children somewhat knew their fate but never pressed for more information because they did not want to know. Guardians are the people that watches over the children and educates them, similar to a teacher and even parents. Kathy tells us about her friends and focuses a great deal on Ruth and Tommy since those are two most important characters in this novel.

Ruth is Kathy's best friend through the story however they quarrel. Everything about Ruth is told through Kathy's eyes and she tells all of it, …show more content…

Ruth had always friends in her early childhood in contrast to Tommy who was an outcast. Similarly, both saw Kathy as their good friend also they both die and completing their supposed purpose in their life.

In short,aside from Kathy, the most important characters are Ruth and Tommy because they represented dreams, desires, jealousy, anger, pleasure and all the things that makes one human. They all died from donating their organs and accepting their fate as it was. In my personal opinion it was very infuriating to see them accept this fate and if they had been curious to know the truth from an earlier age maybe they would had done
