Population Control: How Corporate Owners are Killing us, is a very informative and well written book. His newest conspiracy is that the government is going to reduce to population to 500 million in any way that they have to, and they intend to make money off of it as well. This book would be useful for scholars, or those who are intrigued by the topic of population control. Jim Marrs really did a very thorough job researching each of his theories. Though, his views may be controversial, he does a very good job backing-up his theories with a wide variety of facts. Jim Marrs has had a lot of experience writing about his specialty, government conspiracies. Marrs really outdid himself on this book; he used appropriate terms, he organized it very …show more content…

48). Marrs provides an abundance of information on the ingredients of these vaccines, and the effects they can have on small children. He shows how harmful thimerosal, a preservative that vaccine manufacturers use in order to save money on the keeping and making of these vaccines; this ingredient contains 49.6% mercury by weight, it can break down into ethylmercury (Marrs, 2015, p. 56 ). This can be very toxic to small children, and can have great effects if it is routinely given (Marrs, 2015, p. 56). By the age of three a majority of children have been administered twenty-four of their shots; around this time is when autism symptoms begin to appear (Marrs, 2015, p. 56). If thimerosal is injected into an animal, its brain is affected; if it is put into a petri dish, the culture dies; if it is put on living tissue, the tissue dies (Marrs, 2015, p. 56). Marrs includes the findings in a study about the subject; this study says that environmental pollution, specifically mercury and mercury containing compounds, can triple a kid's risk of developing Autism Spectrum Disorder (Marrs, 2015, p. 59). A large number of the vaccines that contain thimerosal are highly recommended by physicians and the government (Marrs, 2015, p. 56). He really supports this theory when he quotes Brian Hooker; Hooker said “other countries that vaccinate less and have …show more content…

Anyone who has seen someone lose their life to cancer knows how devastating it is. The search for a cure for cancer has been ongoing for as long as the world can remember, but Jim Marrs theorizes that the government knows a cure and is keeping it from the world. Dr. Christina Sanchez discovered that the psychoactive drug in marijuana, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), kills cancer cells, while keeping healthy cells alive (Marrs, 2015, p. 42). Marrs questions the government's intentions with keeping marijuana a Schedule I drug, because of its obvious beneficial properties (Marrs, 2015, p. 42). Pharmaceutical companies have realized how profitable anti-cancer drugs are; Jim Marrs says that researchers have noticed more people are living off of cancer than are dying from it (Marrs, 2015, p. 43). The FDA's reliable reputation is starting to diminish; drugs that they have approved to be safe for use have turned out to be life threatening. Jim Marrs points out public information in a way that implies these sorts of actions are intentional, and puts it in a completely new light. Vioxx was a drug that was approved by the FDA; this drug also happened to cause deadly myocardial infarctions and strokes (Marrs, 2015, p. 43). This drug was used for the same things as other drugs, like ibuprofen; it also reduced the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in comparison to
