Puerto Roco - An analysis for business perspective.

Populated for centuries by aboriginal peoples, the island was claimed by the Spanish Crown in 1493 following Christopher COLUMBUS' to the Americas. In 1898, after 400 years of colonial rule that saw the population nearly exterminated and African slave labor introduced, Puerto Rico was ceded to the US as a result of the Spanish-American War. Puerto Ricans were granted US citizenship in 1917. Popularly elected governors have served since 1948. In 1952, a constitution was enacted providing for internal self government. It is located in the middle of the arc of sea (which begins South of Florida and runs in an arc to the coast of Venezuela).Puerto Rico is rectangular in shape and is 100 miles (160 km.) by 35 miles (56 km.). The mountainous interior of the island is surrounded on all sides by a wide coastal plain. Puerto Rico also includes the islands of Vieques (51.7 sq. mi.) (135 sq. km.), and Culebra (10 sq. mi.) (26 sq. km.), approximately 17 miles (27 km.) to the east. Portions of both these islands were used by the United States Navy for training for more than 50 years, but training exercises have now ceased and Navy lands have been returned to the Puerto Rico government.

, education, Transport, communications, Alcoholic beverages, Recreation, restaurants and hotels
Have great scope in the market (at a global level). Also, when I asked about the feasible place in the world for doing business he explained that it depends to the sector in which one wish to do business in.
Well, another good learning was that to know about the career opportunities at the global platform. For example, Europe is facing some job issues for international people as well as domestic people, China, India has good opportunities, Australia, Canada has good market for mining, US, Japan for technology, France for Aerospace.
However, not only the global market is having opportunities but also the Indian market is having a great and promising future if the government successfully implements the ‘Make in India’ policy.
The major learning with this interview is that the global market is full of opportunities, one can think of achieving the global successful career but before that one should analyze the market
