In his book Seedfols by Paul Fleischman writes about a charter about Virgil. Virgil’s dad seems to selfless, because he always worries about his sun Virgil. Virgil’s father is a taxi driver, and askes people what is a crop that will make you earn a lot of money. Virgil and his dad planted baby lettuce. The money that they would have made from selling the crops would have goon towards buying a bike to Virgil. Virgil is indolent because he wants to avoid work and only does work until it concerns him. Virgil had to help his dad to grow baby lettuce, because his dad did not give any other choice. He only started to worry about the crops when they were dying, and he would get his bike.
