Every citizen of the United States has their own person right that protects from the governments abusive power. The Bill of Rights was established to ensure the safety of American citizens but not just American citizens some rights are universal for anyone else. Regardless of the Bill of Rights Law enforcement has violated our rights. The constitutional issue has uplifted and many Americans are outraged. Law enforcement should have not have the right to violate people’s rights even though they need to ensure the welfare of all American citizens. This quite relates to the saying “ Desperate times calls for desperate measures.“ Some people don’t mind the government invading their rights during desperate times. This relates to world War 2. A quote appropriated from the Article “ Milton Eisenhower Justifies the Internment of Japanese Americans” written by Milton Eisenhower says “ In an atmosphere of hysteria, President Roosevelt, encouraged by officials at all levels of the federal government, authorized the internment of tens of thousands of American citizens of Japanese ancestry and resident aliens from Japan. On March 18, 1942,Roosevelt authorized the establishment of the War Relocation Authority (WRA) to govern these detention camps.” What this text is trying say that Japanese Citizens and Japanese citizens who were also American rights were violated by President Roosevelt’s decision to authorize the internment on the Japanese citizens, however they wanted to protect civilians from the potential threat of the Japanese. The term Internment basically means to be sent to prison without a trial from a court of Law.
