Hernandez, and Katie B, Galvin, their study questions whether having best friends throughout youth is influential. The main purpose that is provided in this article, the interest in the ranking of best friends in the lives of preschoolers, kindergarteners, and early primary school age children. The purpose of investigating the status of best friends is to impose the impact of standard friendships and best friendships are crucial in the development of children because these relationships will make lasting impressions. The study hypothesized that best friendships would result in prosocial behavior, less social rejection, and acceptance from their peers.
