In my opinion, I believe that The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time was a great read. Having the author give many different and unique situations that the otherwise unique point of view that we had to part take it from. From the mystery of Christopher’s neighbor’s dog that was initially supposed to be the whole story, to the struggle of fitting in, this book gives a fresh and new perspective through the protagonist’s eyes. Given someone who also has autism, something that isn’t frequently seen as the protagonist of a story. I personally feel that the author had many reasons for writing this book, to giving young students, like myself, a new outlook from someone’s eyes, especially one who has autism.
