On June 12, 2016, 49 people were killed and 53 were injured in an Orlando gay club.During this shooting,a man named Eddie Justice texted his mom that there was someone in the club and that he was going to die.Imagine if this happened to one of your family members, what would you do? Background Information Having gay rights have always been an issue to the LGBT community. They have been decriminalized, suffered homelessness, abuse, murder and racial injustice.This problem has led to many young boys and girls to hide their sexuality from their parents because they are afraid that they will be kicked out.
