People think that writers are perfect at what they do and that they are not faced with hardships while writing. This is not true. Writers are faced with many difficulties while trying to write such as writer’s block and many other writing related difficulties. With the mindset of “being a perfect writer”we try to go above and beyond when it comes to our writing and that isn't always right. For example, in the article “The Inspired Writer Vs. Writing isn’t something that you are just born with, you develop skills overtime that you use and that Bakhtiari 2 make you a good writer. You shouldn't expect writing to just come to you naturally, you have to work towards it. You should just put your mind towards it and just write. The way you write does not have to be complicated. You can start off as little as just an idea about what you are going to write about and that's a good enough start. “Most people as they start college have wildly strange ideas about what they are doing when they write an essay, or worse-- they have no clear idea at all (Irvine 4)” While writing essays or papers, do your research beforehand so you have a better understanding of the topic and develop an idea of what you are talking about. This is critical in the beginning parts of your writing and can help you out a ton when it comes down to writing.
