Many think Pony boy has a rough life. He even has his brothers with him at tough times. Just like the rumble how two bit 's, Darry and Pony boy fought the Socs. Then, the greasers win the rumble against the Socs. Therefore, Pony boy will be better with his brothers than foster care.

There are comparisons and contrast in the movie and the book “The Outsiders”. For example in both when Ponyboy and Johnny run away from after killing Bob they go on the train to the abandoned church in both. They are similar because in the story and movie Johnny kills bob then runs away with Pony. They go to Dally where he gave them a pistol and told them to jump on the train and get off at the second stop Windrixville and go to the abandoned church on top of jay mountain. Another example of similarities between both is they still have all the main characters in the greaser gang.
DARRY OR SYSTEM ? In the novel The Outsiders, Ponyboy may think he's fine living with his two older brothers Darry and Sodapop but, he doesn't know what trouble can come his way. The Lusitania was one of the most famous shipwrecks in history, other than the Titanic, because it was the start of the World War I. America has definitely gone through the worst of times. What is so great about America, though, is that everyone unites together to fix a problem. Many passengers arrived for a relaxing, wonderful cruise but found themselves thrown into chaos as a torpedo entered the ship. This caused America to help out in the war by lending Britain equipment, soldiers, and jobs during this tough time.
In the book, Outsiders, I noticed the most character development in Ponyboy Curtis. Although he didn’t realize many things until the end of the book, I think once everything registered within himself, he took everything that had happened to him in the past couple weeks as a lesson. One thing that Ponyboy finally grasped was that his oldest brother Darry actually cared for him. At first Ponyboy had always thought that Darry didn’t like him and that Darry would rather him be gone. However, after his friends repeatedly reassured Ponyboy that his older brother had been hard on him because he really loved and cared about him, Ponyboy slowly started to realize that, even though the two still fought a bit.

The kid end up running away and struggling on their own and really feel like “The Outsides”. A young boy name pony and his friends run off because pony got into a physical argument with his older brother while pony went to clear his mind he end up running into trouble.
