Treblinka by Jean-Francois Steiner is the detailed account of a few of the Jews that were held at Treblinka concentration during World War II and of how these Jews planned an escape and had surviving escapees. Steiner is very thorough from the beginning of the book to the last sentence. He spent much time in the preset of Treblinka and telling of the ghettos and Poland before the Holocaust. Steiner could have skipped over many of the minor details, but most of his minor details were interesting and seemed to be more intriguing. Treblinka was written as a descriptive account in chronological order as the ghettos were formed to after the escape. Steiner is not biased in Treblinka, yet he does not hold back when detailing the violence of the
