Have you ever wondered what it would be like going to land where everyone is just as crazy as you? Where the Wild Things Are, written and illustrated by Maurice Sendak, takes the reader on an adventure with a young boy to a place where the creatures are just as wild as he is. This children’s picture book, portrays the theme ‘you should not make judgements based on appearances’. The boy is sent to bed without any supper because of his wild actions, this then takes the boy, Max, on a long adventure to a place where he meets his match in wild creatures.
