When it comes to a patient that does not speak English the first thing we have to do is find someone capable and a professional to translate, complying with all the HIPAA regulations are being taken care of and not violated. Whether it is a live person, over the phone service or if available online. We cannot ask a family member to serve as a translator because we might break the patient confidentiality if the patient does not want anybody knowing his diagnosis and the procedures being done to them. This includes four years of high school, a four-year college degree, four years of medical school, a pediatric internship and residency for three years, and finally a neonatology fellowship for three years. What many fail to realize is that they are not simply sitting in a classroom for the whole eighteen years. Following the second year of medical school, they get the chance to interact in a hands-on approach with patients under supervision. After graduating from medical school, an "M.D." degree is received.

I use all of these methods to effectively learn, making me multimodal. In Chapter four we learned that there is more than one type of memory.

How does Hill create a powerfully dramatic sense of fear and tension in this extract? In Susan Hill 's book "I 'm the King of the Castle", some of the main themes are tension and fear. Both doctors and patients need to understand each other in order to find a solution for the patient, otherwise, their communication will come to nothing. Thus, the interpreter's job is not only to put that communication at ease, but also to help save the lives of many who might be severely injured as a result of misunderstanding. However, not any family member, a nurse or a stranger can be used as medical interpreters. There should be skills and requirements that a medical interpreter is expected to meet.

These two topics were just samplings of the information discussed, but they stuck out to me on a personal level, while pushing me to promote cultural competence and understanding beyond this course in all my future workplace
Introduction: The story I’m the King of the Castle is set in a desolate area and most of the action transpires largely in a house known as Warings. The story centers around four major characters and follows the bullying and torment of one boy, Edmund Hooper towards another, Charles Kingshaw ending with his chilling suicide. This story evokes a fair number of questions from the reader, one more commonly discussed question being, and who is most to blame for the death of Charles Kingshaw? There is no one answer, for when analyzing this highly debatable question a number of related issues come into play, a highly contentious one being whether nature impacts how we behave more than how we are nurtured.
I have understood the material more as I studied out of the text book. This has also helped me take effective notes. With this most recent score on my exam I had a push to keep going and
