Have you ever thought that college players should be paid? I'm asking that question because college athletes are hard workers and should be diverse to be paid. College players put themselves at risk each game they play. College players also bring in a lot of money for the NCAA. College players devote most of their time to training. College players miss more class time playing at NCAA events, therefore they don't get enough class time. College athletes should be paid for all the things they give up.

The NCAA schedule and events make athletes lose class time and then they have to make that up. This year's national championship made Florida players miss the first day of spring classes. Some schools on the road to NCAA men's basketball championship required students to miss a quarter of all class days in their spring semester. College athletes miss class time to entertain so shouldn't they get money for that. People buy their jerseys so why don't they get money. The most demanding sport is division 1 and 2 baseball and baseball has the longest season in any sport. Division 1 baseball players devote 42.1 hours to their sport that's 10.4 more than spending on academics. Division 1 basketball and football players spend more time on sports than school work. If college athletes were paid they could leave school with more than a degree. College athletes have no time for a job they don't have the opportunity to earn
