I chose a bell to represent freedom, a heart with people inside it to represent love from his family, a bird to represent peace/innocence, and an earth with an infinity sign on it to represent his faith in the world. I chose to represent freedom as something that he felt he lost as he watched fellow jews burn in the fire because when he saw them he knew that if he didn’t do what he was supposed to do he would suffer the same fate, therefore losing his freedom. I also drew a heart with people inside it to represent love from his family because when he saw the flames he lost the love from his family because he knew that there was a chance that the same thing could happen to anyone of them.
