Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer tells a story about a man named Chris McCandless whose goal is to travel to Alaska, reside in the bush, and live off the land. Take Chris’ trip to Mexico. For example, he impulsively bought an aluminum canoe in Topock, Arizona, where he traveled through the Colorado River and illegally crossed the border into Mexico.
