Flourishing in terms of “Treat others fairly” would suggest that you are treated fairly and people are willing to help you at any single moment. Violation: By not treating people fairly, people will then reciprocates that behavior. As a result you are not able to receive fair treatment from others. Flourishing in terms of “Help others” would suggest by you helping others, who deserve your help. You will end of a result of you feeling good. Your actions are a reflection of who you are. Heinz broke into the store, because he will be much happier if he saves his wife’s life, even if he will have to serve a prison sentences. Heinz helping his wife is expected in him. Heinz was married and vowed “to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.” Heinz has no other choice but to do everything possible to help his wife. If he wants to be good husband, even if that means breaking into a drug store. One of the other KTER that applies to Heinz dilemma is “ Don’t steal” Heinz should of not broken into the drug store and steal the drugs for his wife, because it is a violation of his flourishing. He already attempted to raise money for the drugs. So he should be satisfied with that. Heinz will now be sent to prison. In prison he will suffer in a jail cell.
