Analyzing Hailsham's Shadowy Experiments

This conversation is an extremely critical part of this novel. It has revealed the Hailsham students are nothing but an experimentation. “Shadowy objects in test tubes ” (pg.424). It also reveals how Madame and Miss Emily genuinely care about their students in their own twisted way. Madame and Miss Emily claim they gave their students a great life, and sheltered them from a great deal of terrible things in the world. “And the memories, I suppose, of all of you.
