One reason a narrator is very much important if they were in the center of the event is that they would visualize all the details and sounds. If it was told from another point of view that wasn’t in the center, they would probably miss most of the details. For example, in the story, “The smell of Fresh Paint”, Tina encountered a terrible attack where she lived. She actually saw everything that had happened. For example, Tina saw smoke from a distance, lots of blood, and some Iraqi men that faced some damages from the rocket attack.
