The best villain that I know of is the Shadow man or as some know him Dr. Facilier. The shadow man is from the movie “The Princess In The Frog”. The shadow man turned prince Navine into a frog so that the shadows could rule New Orleans. The fake Navine, who was his non loyal servant, took his place to marry Lottie. The shadow man also messes with people's fate like prince Navine.

Even though they were separated for short periods of time they still find each other in the end. The Prince takes her to his palace and they get married. The movie “The Princess and the Frog” is not your typical “boy saves girl” movie. Instead, this Disney movie presents us with a strong female lead who doesn’t need a man to achieve her goals. In many previous Disney movies, it is demonstrated that a girl needs a man in order to get her happily ever after. Without a prince, she is nothing. In “The Princess and the Frog” the gender roles are presented to us as equal, even reverse at times.
The tales selected by the Grimm brothers aim to guide and influence the youth with moral messages depicted through colorful character designs. The synergy between the cast allows for a definitive contrasts of morals, and demonstrates to the youth a formulated standard of good and evil. Within most tales, these opposing sides bargain in some form, in order to accomplish personal goals by utilizing one another. In the story, The Frog King, the importance of fulfilling agreements is mentioned and is greatly reinforced by the words of a king.(Grimm,pg.3) However, the Grimm brothers elaborate that pacts between strangers lack trust, and can be easily diminished when negative emotions become involved.
Archetypes are found in many stories. An archetype is a recurrent symbol, behavior, and even term found in in literature. For example, in the story “Cinderella”, one can relate the helpful fairy godmother to other stories, such as “Sleeping Beauty” and “Pocahontas”. The original French folktale, Beauty and the Beast by Madame de Villeneuve, the popular Disney movie Beauty and the Beast, and a short story simply titled Beast by Francesca Lia Block can all be analyzed using Vladimir Propp’s methodology. While these stories neither follow Propp’s linear formula nor have a traditional villain, they still hold many of the elements Propp defines in Morphology of the Folktale. Using a Roman numeral system, Propp calls “dramatis personae,” elements of these stories fall loosely under these categories: I, one member of the family is absent; II, an interdiction is addressed to the hero; III, the interdiction is violated; VIII, the villain causes harm or injury; IX, the hero is allowed to go free; XI, the hero leaves the home; XII, the hero is tested; XIV, the hero acquires the use of a
