In And Then There Were None a poem was found in Vera Claythornes room which she had been read to when she was little.The book is based upon a poem found in Vera’s room. The book is about an unknown murder in the mansion on soldier Island. Ten random people that don’t know each other are invited by an unknown person they all have never seen in person. They arrive at soldier island and the 1st day the get there someone is murdered by poisoning. I believe the murder where to follow the poem so closely because he wanted to use a way that someone would know how to figure it out at the end. The book is about murders and is discovering who it is. The book is avery suspenseful book but the bad part about it is that the poem spoils how the victims die. To me the poem ruins the book for me. We find out who the murder is in the epilogue at the end of the book. …show more content…

That is why he murders her last because she least expects since everyone is dead. Vera thought she would live since every guest was murder and there would be no to kill her but herself. As the death's keep happening like the poem describes it, the murder knew they would figure it out but would not discover who it was. The killer would have had to plan ahead on who to murder in order. I think he chooses to follow the poem closely because he probably had hate for each guest or wanted them to pay for something they did in the past. I Believe the murder followed the poem because he had no plan on how to murder them in a way they would not find out
