This was a hard trial to fight but in the end she got off on being not guilty by reason of insanity. She has been sentenced to a mental hospital for life, so she has to sit and think about what she did, also so she could not hurt anyone else. Many people were against her being found not guilty, and Mrs. Yates even had talked about how she feels today.
