Did you know that the face of $20 dollar bill is up for debate? You carry it around in your pocket, but do you know who’s on it? That man is Andrew Jackson, our 7th president. He was quite a controversial man, but he accomplished great advance for the United States. I believe that Andrew Jackson should be on the $20 bill. He was able to expand the U.S westward, speak for the common people, and improve manufacturing in the U.S. To begin, Andrew Jackson was able to expand the U.S westward. He allowed the Americans to start settling to the west. Many people say that this should not be considered an achievement because of the way he did this. Andrew Jackson is believed to have forced the native americans out of their land, and killed them if they opposed him. However, many people do not know the complete story.
