Audrey Hepburn, an amazing actress right? As most people know the late Mrs. Hepburn was a theater actress, philanthropist, and a film actress. The lovely lady was loved by almost all people and most of them only knew her for her acting and not her whole story.
Let us start from the beginning, Audrey Hepburn was born May 4, 1929, in Brussels, Belgium (Biography.com Editors). When she was growing up the places she stayed were Belgium, the Netherlands, and England (Schneider). Growing up in different places must’ve been hard on her. Sadly, when she was younger she was under Nazi occupation during WWII and saw many hardships (Schneider). Later on growing up she learned how to be a ballerina and from dancing in shows she used the money she got she gave to the Dutch Resistance (Pettinger). Growing up with so many problems like moving and be basically captured would have been dreadful.
Later on, as an adult, she moved away from her problems. Audrey studied at the Arnhem Conservatory in the Netherlands (Biography.com Editors). Years later she got married on September 25, 1954, to Mel Ferrer in Switzerland (Biography.com Editors). Sadly, she divorced Mel in 1967 (Biography.com Editors). Most of the films she starred in had something to do with education (Schneider). Hepburn’s commonly known roles were in Roman Holiday or Breakfast at Tiffany’s (Pettinger). She first got an Academy Award for Best Actress for her starring role in Roman Holiday (Biography.com Editors). As Audrey Hepburn’s life went on she won a total of four awards, an Academy, Emmy, Grammy, and Tony Award (Biography.com Editors).
