Memoirs, Autobiographies, and Biographies are spectacular ways of writing. And all together will change your life. The way you look at life will change completely. Enjoying every small moment and appreciating what you have are side effects of reading these novels. They are filled with raw unfiltered truth that makes you question your own perspective of life. They engulf your mind with pain, mystery, joy, empathy, and many more emotions. You can see this in the Autobiography Angela’s Ashes by Frank McCourt. It’s a wonderful story of a boy who lives in the era of the Great Depression. And are thought to be better people. They see past others actions to what is really held inside. So yes, it will change the reader for the best. Any book will change a reader from a child reading a picture book to a teen reading a disgustingly romantic novel. But the Biography genre has a certain long lasting ring to it. Maybe it's the fact that these tragic events actually happened and your beloved character isn’t something that someone cleverly imagined up. No, this is real life. And you, the reader will see the world differently. You may start to enjoy history. Maybe wanting to research the time period that your novel took place in. The small moments in life is something you will appreciate also. The luxury the main character may not have been able to enjoy. Like in the novel Angela’s ashes. The author Frank McCourt, wasn’t able to buy clothes. For god sakes his family couldn’t even afford diapers. They had to take used diapers and wash and dry them so that the children could wear them. Personally I wanted to help the poor so that I could see the spark of gratefulness a person has when you help them. It also makes you understand the fact that everyone has a story. That every living being has a tragic past. And not to look at people for how they act, that it is most likely because of the trauma they have gone
