This emotion helps to establish the plot as it plays a vital role in human characters. Three characters that it affects in the play are Othello, Iago and Rodrigo. The entire characters outlet their anger through violence and confrontations. In Othello Shakespeare uses the clearest form of anger and its clear and direct results. In contrary he uses indirect anger in Hamlet, indirect anger and its indirect results. Also Shakespeare uses anger in Macbeth to illustrate the issues he tackles and illustrates the results of this form of anger. Shakespeare uses figurative language throughout Romeo and Juliet to show the characters' anger. There are great examples of figurative language being used to express anger in the play.
