The type of business the owner runs is a company which is a source (list) of recommended contractors, service companies

Angie only knew Will and his wife in Columbus. Angie started crying and had a breakdown in a bakery, where in the end of the Conversation with Will, she didn’t quit. In the earliest years of the Angie’s List company, Angie had to deal with billing, writing the magazine for her company, getting new subscribers, expanding to indianapolis, selling advertising, and spending half her week in Columbus and the other half in Indianapolis (which was a three hour drive). At the start of the Angie’s List company, Angie Hicks only spent about 3 hours sleeping. She said that “I was super burnt out” in reference to the early years of her

She (Angie Hicks) graduated from College in Indiana. Will Oesterle was like a mentor to Angie. Will calls Angie asking her to move to columbus to start a business where she would have to commit to the company for the year. Angie’s grandfather encouraged Angie to start the business with Will. In the first year of the now called “Angie’s List” company, the founders generated 1000 subscribers. Perseverance is Angie’s entrepreneurial trait. Angie started business school after her company started to take off. Angie felt that she would have left the company if she hadn’t taken the time to go to business school because she needed a new perspective. She went to business school as a way to understand way to understand what she was going through in regards to her company. Angie Hicks attended business school at Harvard. Angie was the first in her immediate family to go to college. Angie was still keeping the books while she was in business school. When Angie agreed to come back to her company, Will said they weren’t able to afford her. Angie didn’t take that as a response and she told him that she was coming back to the company before hanging up on him. Angie’s title when she came back to her company was “Chief Marketing officer”. Angie’s first websites was posted in the early 2000’s or 1999 where it was built by 2 college kids. Angie believes people were willing to write the reviews because if they didn't the next person wouldn’t.I
