OVERVIEW OF ANGOLA
Angola is a country in Central Africa rich in natural resources. It has a very large reserves of oil and diamonds, hydroelectric potential and rich agricultural land. Despite this Angola remains very poor having been ravaged by a bloody civil war from 1975 to 2002.
Angolan people are stoics and have a deep understanding of patience,they avoid blaming the difficulties the country faces on the fact that there was a war. Music is the heart and soul of every Angolan.
Angola is the second largest petro;eum and diamond producer in sub-saharan Africa

The country Angola has its location central Africa and capital city is Luanda .it was independence on November 11, 1975. it has population 10,069,501 and its important cities are jamba , Huambo , caxito . Angola head of state is Edouardo dos santos and it cover area of 1,246,699 sqkm .Angola type of government is republic and its currency is 183Akwazas =1 USD

Angola country continent is Africa and its region is southern Africa and its coordinates is
12°30′S 18°30′E.the longest river of Angola is Congo river 4344m. The Natural resources are petroleum, diamonds, iron ore, phosphates, copper, gold, uranium , bauxite .The climate is equatorial to tropical . Literacy rate of Angola country is 42% and the official languages is Portuguese.

Major cities are Amboim ,Bailundo ,Benguela, Caala ,Calandula ,Ganda, Huambo . Kuito ,Kuvango , Luena, Massango , Menongue , Namibe , Saurimo , Soyo ,Sumbe , Tombua .

Angola people experiences rainy and dry seasons and there is short rainy season from February to April. Angola people experiences summer season as hot and dry, while winters are mild .the heaviest rainfall occurs in April.
