Animal Abandonment: How Does Faye Carey Help?

Animal abandonment is all around us, and we can stop it. I’ve mentioned before some ways to help including; Putting up posters, and posting articles about abandonment. But we can do more than the small things like starting a fundraiser. They will help for sure, but Faye Carey wanted to do more for the abandoned animals, and took action.

Who is Faye Carey?: According to the article: “Faye Carey Pet Abandonment” Faye is a young teenage girl, while most girls are talking gossip and getting fancy cloths, Faye to put herself in the paws of abandoned animals, and realized just how awful animal abandonment really is. Faye Carey then took action and helped re-home over 60 abandoned dogs.

How did Faye Carey help?: According to “Teenage girl is dogs' best friend” Faye Carey first started off by volunteering at her local branch of Animal Control, “giving abandoned animals a second chance at life.” Later, Faye created a facebook page advertising puppies and dogs that needed to be adopted. Her page has nearly 300 likes and a loyal following of happy pet owners.

When we’re re-homing animals, we’re making it so puppy mills don’t have to breed nearly as many animals when more are being adopted from shelters. When animals are left abandoned, in shelters and especially stray animals, aren't neutered. Increasing pet overpopulation dramatically.
