a) On the Index of the Canadian National Collection of Insects, Arachinds and Nematode, the webpage for the Allograpta oblique it mentions its common English name and who came up with the name. On the same website for the webpage for the Tyrophagus putrescentiae, it mentions its common name, where its found, who is the host, where it resides and what the symptoms could be if this insect attacks as well as the references from where the information has been given. b) In order to find my insects on this website, I initially went to the search option at the top of the webpage. Then I entered the scientific latent name of the insect into the search bar and usually clicked the first result to retrieve information. 5. The major difference between the two sites is the Encyclopedia of life is a more organized database and is user friendly with specific useful results. Encyclopedia of life contains various different sub topics for each animal/plant/insect in order to get different kinds of information. Whereas the Canadian National Collection site has a greater difficulty level in terms of searching an animal/plant/insect because it is an unorganized database with a vast amount of unnecessary information and it has very few animal/plants/insects compared to the Encyclopedia of
