Conformity Essay In the novel, “Animal Farm”, the conformist would be Boxer and an example of a non-conformist would be Martin Luther King Jr. Boxer was a horse in the book Animal Farm and he was a very loyal character who constantly followed the rules and wanted to make the farm better. Martin Luther King Jr was a African American who led the Civil Right Movement and he fought for the rights of African Americans. Boxer and Martin Luther King Jr differ because Boxer obeys to the rules of the farm whereas Martin Luther King Jr disobeys many rules to fight for his rights and the rights of African Americans.
