History shows that whatever isn’t learned from will surely be repeated. This book is a prime example of this as the book’s plot is about that same thing. The name of this book is “Animal Farm” and the author of this tale is George Orwell. The society in this book fell in the same trap and were left in a worse situation. Mr. Jones the former owner of the farm was stormed off by the animals because he was cruel and treated the animals poorly. Napoleon lead the new farm for the entirety of its time. He was originally a normal who wanted a good farm, but took a turn for the worst. As the book continues however you can clearly see he becomes more and more like a dictator/Tyrant. He becomes greedy for power and he wants more and more as the book goes on. He sets the system up so that the pigs are the most dominant breed of animals. They are the most intelligent and most trained. They have access to books and other human things that the other animals don’t have. They basically become the government of the farm. He even made them into one simple phrase. “Two legs good, Four legs bad.” You think that this commandment is easy to follow, but the pigs don’t even follow this rule because at the end of the book you can see the pigs learn how to walk on two legs instead of four. Like they were just humans in disguise. The pigs think of themselves as better than the other animals. Even back when there was more than one commandment they were twisting their promises and breaking rules. They changed the commandment from no animal can sleep in a bed to no animal can sleep in a bed with sheets. However, only pigs really have access to the house. No other animal has access to a bed except the pigs. They made the gap between the animals and the pigs greater and greater and the other animals had no clue and even if they did they weren’t smart enough to understand it. The animals though they were equal to the pigs when infact they were not. The pigs were living the lives of humans, right under the other animals
