In my eyes a leader has to be someone that you can look up to and know that they help the world. I chose Jackie Robinson to be my leader because he changed something that I love with a passion. Baseball would not be where baseball it is, without the guts and the courage this one individual had, because he loved the sport that much. Jackie Robinson was a better man, than he was a baseball player. Jackie displayed courage and pride.
Percy soon came up with an idea to help his friends out safely. Percy was also a great thinker when it came to stealing the golden fleece from Polyphemus. Once everybody retrieved Grover, Percy came up with a plan to retrieve the fleece and his plan was successful. Another trait that good leaders have is being able to care for others.

Animal Farm by George Orwell is a book based on the Revolutionary War. Where animals on Manor farm are tired of getting mistreated and decide to take over. One of the main Characters Napoleon ends up being the leader of the farm and controlling all the animals.
Abraham Lincoln is a better leader than the pigs. The pigs are murderers, liars, evil, and money /power hungry. Abraham Lincoln is a great president, self educated, wise, and a great speaker. Lincoln wants to make America great, make everyone equal, and be treateded the same. Unlike the pigs in Animal Farm, Abraham Lincoln embodies the characteristics of a strong leader because he/she symbols honesty, loving, and care.
Abuse of Power From the beginning of time until now, civilization has always felt the need to be organized under a leader. The craving of power lives in most people. Sometimes men striving for power can work their way up to a dictatorship, absolute control, by using propaganda, fear, and many other methods. In the novel, Animal Farm by George Orwell, Napoleon portrays similar qualities in power as Hitler.
The Government in Legend also uses fear to corrupt the mindsets of the citizens. Like the pigs in Animal Farm, the government in Legend uses violence towards those who disobey or go against the government in any way to maintain power and scare the other citizens into obeying them. When June organizes the capture of Day in his house, Day hides while the guards hold the rest of his family hostage, hoping to lure Day out so they can capture him. When Day does not turn himself in like the government wants him to, “The captain lifts his gun and points it at my [Day’s] mother. Then he shoots her in the head” (157).
The very first thing that makes up a good leader, is knowledge. With knowledge, leaders are able to take good decisions. Therefore I consider Rick Grimes from "The Walking Dead" as someone who makes up a good leader. What makes him a good leader is his knowledge, responsibility, and bravery. To begin with, Rick Grimes, the leader of a group of people who want to survive a zombie apocalypse, is their leader because he knows what and what shouldn't be done in order to survive.

This can be seen throughout history, such as World War II and proven by the actions of Napoleon in the allegory, Animal Farm, by George Orwell. As Lord Acton said “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” In history what was viewed as a villain, is never the same as the perception. A leader does not begin wanting to do wrong, they start with the best intentions, but power is a tricky thing.

The pigs immediately gain control and leadership of the farm and eventually start to abuse the power. The pigs abuse their power by changing the commandments, living in luxury, and by treating the animals poorly. First and foremost, the pigs start changing the commandments to fit their acts and desires. In the beginning of the story, the animals decide on fair rules that everyone on the farm should abide by.
Queen Elsa The Disney movie, Frozen is the story of two sisters, one of whom was born with magical powers of ice and snow, trying to save their kingdom. Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power. There are many different types of leadership and they all react differently to power. A leadership style like authoritarian usually has the leader forcing others to do certain things, for example most corporate bosses tell you to do your task or you 'll be fired. Giving power to an authoritative leader usually goes wrong, they think they can get away with things and that no one can question them. This leadership style usually leads to giving very few people power, which leads to corruption.
Stalin, the leader of the Communist army in Russia and the most powerful man in the past uses violence to the ones that go against him. He has a style of dictatorship where many people suffer. Gunshots going across, people dying out, outcry, burst in tears with bruises all over the body, killing in harsh condition all occurs during Russian Revolution. The historical background of George Orwell’s Animal Farm is also the Russian Revolution. In the book, Napoleon uses dictatorship to order other animals, uses accuration, and give harsh punishment who block his way.
