These two poems I am going to be writing about are very similar. Both authors use figurative language and supporting details to get their points across on why they think animals are great. The authors love animals and they are trying persuade us to feel the same way they do about animals. They made me believe that animals should be treated like humans, to me they did a good job persuading because I was persuaded to believe their thesis. Both authors have similar opinions on animals on how they should be treated just like human beings. Nancy and Maria have similar opinions about animals. Nancy explains that animals and human beings defended Earth together. I am pretty sure Maria wants to get the word around that humans should help animals when
