The process of animal testing for experimentation purposes dates back centuries in the 2nd and 4th century BCE. Animals have been used repeatedly throughout the history of biomedical research which are commonly easy to breed animals such as pigs, goats, mice, sheep, rats and etc. There were many scientists that revolutionized the field of biomedical research. To name a few, According to Pasteur(1864) who was a French chemist and microbiologist that was renowned for his breakthroughs of vaccination, pasteurization, fermentation. By performing his research regarding the germ theory, he proved it by demonstrating it by inducing anthrax in sheep. Secondly, Pavlov(1879) who was a Russian physiologist was known primarily for his work in classical conditioning.
