Could you handle what Anne Frank went through? "In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart." This is the quote Anne Frank uses to describe how she feels about people even though the worst has happened to her. She felt this way because even though people were doing bad, she still felt they had a good heart. This revealed that she had a good heart and that others had the power to do good instead of bad. To clarify, Anne felt like people were still really good at heart, despite all the horrible things they've done. For example, any Jew had to wear a yellow star, they were shipped off to concentration camps to their death. Anne uses the quote "We're all in much better spirits these days" to show that she felt that things were starting to get better. In the Collections book, Anne states that she might be back in school and be able to see her friends again. Anne also states that the news of the invasion is excellent and at times when she is in despair she could shake it off by writing her thoughts and feelings in her diary.
