Anne Frank a Jewish girl who grew up in a Jewish family, in a Jewish town. Anne was born June 12, of 1929 in a small town in Germany called Frankfurt. (3) She had a both a mother and a father, her mother named, Edith Frank and her father named, Otto Frank, Anne also had a little sister named Margot.(3) She attended a very small school that was for Jews only. (5) Anne was raised around a mixture of a lot of different people, and a lot of different religions. She was raised to treat everyone the right way or in other words (treat other the way you would want to be treated.) (4) Th last date that was found in Anne’s diary was for August 1st, 1944. This entry was written just three days before Anne’s family was found and taken. (Linwer p.4) The family was taken to a place called Huis Van Bewaring, this was a prison at a place called Weteringschans. ( Linwer p. 4) After spending some time in the prison they were all sent to a detention camp that was in Westerbork, because the Franks hid out they were put in the “disciplinary” racks. They were all brought to the Auschwitz- Birkenau, this was an extermination camp for evaluation. On september Anne, Anne's mother and Anne's sister all survived through the evaluation and extermination. Then were all sent to Birkenau Barracks 29 which was an all women's camp, they all stayed at this camo for a year. This camp was recorded to be one of the worst and largest death camps that were around . During this time all three of them ended up getting really sick with scabies, this was a huge problem in this camp along with everyone getting lice. This is why everyone there had to keep their head shaved to nothing so it would he eliminate this problem. (Linwer p. 5) After the year was over Annes children had to be shipped to a different camp, but Annes mother didnt want to leave her kids so she stayed there with them until the children were forced to leave the camp. Anne and her sister were shipped to Bergaen- Belson On october 28, 1944. Just some time after they kids were shipped to a different camp Annes mother died from being so upset from her kids being taken from her, Edith died on January 6, 1945.
