On July 8, 1942, Anne Frank, a Jew, moved with her mother, Edith, her father, Otto, and her sister, Margot, into hiding. They hid in the upstairs of her father’s work in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Anne adored her father, got along with Margot, and disagreed about everything with her mother. She had a great life before Hitler came to power. She had the privilege to hang out with friends, go for ice cream, play outdoors, and enjoy everyday life with her family. Going into hiding immensely changed her life. There were many differences between living in the Annex and living how they used to, but there were some similarities.
