What people should take away from this story is to always have hope and never let anyone or anything take it from you.
The Holocaust was a horrific occurrence in World War II for many Jews. More than 6 million Jews died in the Holocaust. Jews were tortured, forced to go to extermination camp and do force labors. Not many Jews survived the Holocaust, but many did with the help of Sir Nicholas Winton. He saved 669 Jewish children from Czechoslovakia and deported them through eight trains.
So many people have risked their lives and have witnessed what is to be known as the Holocaust. From Paul Galan to Anne Frank. They have all experienced the struggles and hardships. In order to document and remember the Holocaust, they had to somehow have a way to keep it for future generations. That is why Anne Frank made her diary.
“I had to forget everything, including my precious beloved home” (143). She is very brave to give up her freedom and contact with her friends in order to save her life. Anne had to begin a whole new life. She is very brave to withstand all of this. The play “ The Diary of Anne Frank” was inspired by “The Diary of A Young Girl.” The historical events in the Holocaust reflect in the play making the residents in “The Diary of Anne Frank” face many challenges in the attic. One historical event of the Holocaust was to stop the Gestapo.
Everyone changes over time, they grow up and evolve from the person they used to be. Change in a person is just a part of life and happens to everyone. The Holocaust was an event that happened in the 1930s and 40s all over Europe. Over six million Jewish people were killed in camps and of those people were Anne Frank and her family. Anne was just a 13-year-old girl when she and her family went into hiding with another family above her dad's business.
Anne Frank proved herself to be a when she became the human face of the Holocaust. In her well know Diary, she docked down all the events that occurred all around her while she was hiding up in the Secret Annex. While Anne was in hiding she said, "I see the world being slowly transformed into a wilderness; I hear the approaching thunder that, one day, will destroy us too. I feel the suffering of millions." In so many ways she is expressing the idea of things changing.

She documented her family life and what went on in the secret annex. She discussed the things they had to do and the way they had to live not to get caught.

It is essential on account of other families pass more time in concentration camps then what the Franks did and had friends to assist them.
After Hitler came into power, all Jews had to be put into concentration camps to work or be killed. Anne Frank went into hiding and later got found and put into a concentration camp which sadly caused her death. Anne Frank inspired others with her Bravery to stand up to injustice and her optimistic view during bad times. Anne Frank's bravery shows by her being so strong that she went into hiding which could have gotten her killed.
