She didn’t take the Annex like a prison she took it like an obstacle that she would escape over time. Third she is a rebel and spoiled by her father because, One person who has big arguments with Anne was her mother, Mrs. Frank.
Anne also had a very hopeful spirit when having one of her “dates” with peter in his room. They got to talking about what they used to do in there every day life’s before the war had stared and they had lived in the annex , and what they wanted to do when they got out and the war ended. The reader can see this by when Mr. Dussel comes to hide with the people in hiding, Anne steps up and says that he can live with her, and even walks Mr. Dussel to the room they are going to live in together. As the war begins to get worse, the reader can see how Anne reacts to the air strikes and the Germans taking Jews away from their homes. The way Anne is reacting to her situation is showing her growing maturity. Another way Anne shows her maturity in Scene Four is when Anne makes gifts for everyone in the Secret Annex for Hanukkah. Even though she fought with a lot with everyone in the Secret Annex she still made them presents.
It became hard for Anne, she was put into a segregated Jewish school, her father even had to give up his title in his business. On June 12, 1942 Anne got a diary for her birthday, this will later be the reason we know Anne Frank’s story. On July 5, 1942 Anne’s family were forced into hiding; it was no longer safe for their family to live in the outside world. Annelies Marie Frank, or mostly known as Anne Frank was born on June 12,1929 in Frankfurt, Germany. She lived with her family during World War II in Amsterdam. Many of the Jews were fleeing from the persecution of the Nazi’s under the orders of Adolf Hitler at the time. This devastating time was during the Holocaust that lasted from 1933-1945. They quickly went into hiding with seven others including her mother, Edith Frank, and her father, Otto Frank, and her sister, Margot.
Anne Frank once said, “How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.” The Holocaust was a traumatizing event for millions of innocent people, however, many found comfort by remaining calm and relaxed, for example, Anne Frank in the “Diary of a Young Girl”. In addition, politicians also did their best to encourage positivity, such as shown in “Blood, Toil, Tears and Sweat” by Prime Minister of England Winston Churchill. Keeping this mindset, they were able to maintain decent health, and most importantly, were able to persevere through any challenge that presented itself. Though some may argue that compromise is the best way to respond to conflict, in order to obtain peace and compromise, one must first have a positive attitude.
Few days after her birthday started the World War II. She and her family, along with four others, spent over two years of hiding in an annex of rooms above her father´s office in Amsterdam. Anne always wrote on her diary all the things that happen during they were there. She makes the best of a bad situations, such as passing cheerful
According to Bear Grylls, “Being brave isn’t the absence of fear. Being brave is having that fear but finding a way through it.” Many situations that happen in our everyday lives focus on triumph over adversity. This quote explains that when one triumphs over adversity, the adversity isn’t absent from his life, but he must triumph over it and find a way through the situation that is affecting him. Historical events have followed this theme of triumph over adversity, including the infamous Holocaust.
Even though Anne was an optimist, Anne Frank had a very rough time in hiding. Having to share a cramped attic with seven other people, limited food, and limited space. The only place she could go for comfort was her diary, Kitty. Anne loved the outdoors and nature, but the only contact to the outside was Miep and Mr. Kraler. She never got to experience a normal life because she was in the Secret Annex for two years, hiding because she was disparate.
