In my opinion “Anne Frank’s: Diary of a young girl” so a good example to learn about the holocaust because the diary belonged to a Jewish girl that wrote on her diary while she and her family were hiding away from the nazis.In her diary she wrote about how things were changing over time for the Jews she explains what Jewish people couldn't do certain things anymore.Her diary talks about how they went into hiding and what happened when they were in the annex she talks about how hard it was to keep quiet inside the annex.Based on my experience I think Mr.Godinez should let the 8th graders read the Diary of Anne frank so they could better understand more about the holocaust. I think it's a good idea for Mr.Godinez to let the 8th graders read Anne Frank’s diary.Francine Prose thinks that the diary of Anne frank is a work of literature because she never thought that a girl at the of 13 could write about the nazis genocide like Anne frank did.
