Anne Frank Compare and Contrast The Diary of Anne Frank takes place Amsterdam, Netherlands. In the book Anne and her family are Jews in World War II. Because of the oppression of the Jews, Anne and her family are forced to go into hiding. Anne, her mom Edith, her dad Otto, her sister Margot, Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan, Peter Van Daan, and Mr. Dussel.
Dealing With Conflict and Hard Times When it comes to dealing with tough times such as going to internment camps or hiding from Nazi soldiers so that they aren’t taken to centration camps, there are three important questions that come into play; What motivates people to move through hard times and moments? , What can people do to help others going through tough problems?, and Who can people go to to help them through tough times or conflict? I think that people can best respond to conflict by staying strong through courageousness and always having people in their life to talk to.

Knowing what had occurred during World War 2 is essential to make sure it doesn’t happen again. The diary played a very significant role in Anne’s life, especially during the hiding period, since it helped letting out all the feelings which including fear, and anxiety. “The nicest part is being able to write down all my thoughts and feelings, otherwise I‘d absolutely suffocate.” Anne Frank said. “Not being able to go outside upsets me more than I can say, and I’m terrified our hiding place will be discovered and that we’ll be shot.” Did not only use it just as a normal diary which covered all of her experiences and thoughts while hiding inside the little tiny Secret Annex; Anne Frank also wrote short stories and kept all of her favorite quotes in her “best friend”.
I am a person who usually doesn’t like to read the original book of movies, but when it comes to Anne Frank’s diary the book is definitely better. My main reason why I like the book better is the full detail. My second reason is because it is a Primary source of what was happening. The last reason is because the movie doesn’t follow the order of the diary. I hope you understand my reasoning and enjoy this essay.

She realized that writing down her thoughts and feelings could help her cope with the anxiety of the war and Nazi persecution.

Farewell to Manzanar is a book based on a girl named Jeanne Wakatsuki who is seven years old at the time, and gets taken away with her family to Manzanar encampments, as the U.S. government doesn’t want to risk any Japanese Americans possibly giving up information to the Japanese as they are at war with them. Anne Frank and Jeanne Wakatsuki have many similarities and differences throughout their lifetimes on the run from the war.

Mr. Frank knew them from his business and they had a son named peter,but a month before ended the Nazis came and took them away and only Otto frank lived the horrors of the concentration camps. Anne was very positive girl in the play,Edith frank her mother said "That clock is going to get on my nerves" and Anne replied with " I like It".

During this time her only friend was her diary "Kitty". "Kitty" was her only friend that made her feel appropriate to express her feeling and emotion about everything.
Anne Frank was a teen girl who received her diary on her birthday. From there she used her diary as something she used to write down her thoughts and feelings. She treated it as her prized possession and would always write in it. How the diary played a part in her life was that it was something that she could write in about what was happening to her and the people around her. To elucidate it was about how she as a part of a Jewish family with Jewish religious beliefs had to hide until the Nazis found her.
Ordinarily, most teenage girls would come into this thinking life was over. It would have put them in the mindset of misery. Conversely, Anne Frank came into this situation with hope. She did her best to cherish every moment with her family. Just small moments such as singing with her family made this time of sorrow so enlightened.
