William Shakespeare, known all over the world for his thirty-eight plays, poems, and one hundred and fifty-four sonnets, is studied all over the earth. One of his most popular plays is Hamlet. Hamlet is one of Shakespeare’s tragic plays involving a quest for vengeance, betrayal between siblings, and the banishment of Hamlet. Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564, and the Black Plague struck his town that very same year. His father, John Shakespeare, was a glove and leather make. His mother is Mary Shakespeare. Shakespeare was a philosopher who believed that there wasn’t really anything good or bad. He believed that is was human beings who label things as good or bad. He believed that someone’s actions are mostly affected by his/her perception of what the current reality is. Hamlet’s perception of the ghost didn’t persuade him to act the way he did. His thoughts make him want to investigate more in order to be sure about Claudius’ crimes. His hesitation is one of the big reasons for his thoughts.
