INTRODUCTION This progress report that I submitted to you is about the annexation of a skate-park on the University of Toledo’s campus. INFORMATION ALREADY GATHERED Between March 17th and April 5th I’ve gathered a cornucopia of information, regarding sources on enabling a skate-park on campus. I’ve conducted interviews and went to local skate-shops within the Ann Arbor area regarding my formal report. I have a total of nine to ten sources and each source I have found reliable. My three topics that my formal report will heavily reflect are going to be on fundraising opportunities, square-footage of the skate-park and the cost of the skate-park. I have found many articles regarding the cost of a skate-park, but it’s going to be a lot smaller than the skate-parks that are in cities. While gathering research I stumbled upon a website that showed potential towards my formal report. I asked him three major questions regarding the funding, cost and square-footage of the park. He helped a lot with my formal report by telling me that Ann Arbor has a skate-park because it’s illegal to skate in the streets of Downtown Ann Arbor because of the city ordinance and that with the help of many organizations like Zingleman’s made the Ann Arbor Skate-Park possible.
