Stating the source of the information, used in our paper, assignment from books, websites, electronic media and other resources.
Why Do We Cite?
The reason we provide citations are to give credit for thoughts, ideas, and other information which we borrow from other people and to help readers get the source of information included if they want to get more information about those pieces. There are two citations: in-text citation and full citation. The in-text citation gives an idea where the ideas and the words in the work cam from and in-text citation reference the full Citation at the end of paper. Full Citation gives readers all the information to get from the source.

According to American Psychological Association (APA) manual he format to include the journal is
Author, Middle Name. First Name. (Year of Publication). Article Title. Journal Title, Volume (issue), Start Page- End Page

Citing Electronic Sources
People who write commonly research their work from online libraries, website blogs and websites. They also reference their work from podcasts and videos. When citing electronic resources, in-text citations should describe the author and year. Most of the articles published online doesn’t have page numbers. So when quoting, Paragraph number should be mentioned instead of page number for instance (Author, Year published, paragraph number) and the full citation at the end of the paper provides the author name, year of publication, and title. It also provides retrieval information like URL, DOI. The APA format foe the webpage article published is shown below
